Lovely looking car  :happy2:. If you're still thing about getting a down pipe id recommend the Relentless 3.5". They're £245 delivered and are a good quality item.

Thanks,

Will be looking for a downpipe but will want one with a sport cat (sas I know, but I cant be bothered with the MOT hassle

They do them with sports cats as well but I'm not sure on the price. They're easily the best VFM dp's on the market. That thing will fly at stage 2  :happy2:

Did you get the misfire sorted? I'm having similar issues, hoping an R8 coil pack will resolve it!

Havent done it yet, was waiting to see how low your went before buying another set of VW racing springs.

I need to decide weather to go with them or H&R but I think the H&R will sit a bit lower

Pictures of mine can be found on my build thread, Mine is literally a -5/10mm drop over standard.

Yeah, saw them but would really like 20mm over standard, it currently dropped 30 but I think it looks a bit to low at the rear, may have to save for some coilovers

To be honest it rides ok at the moment now I've played with the adjusters on the shocks but you can tell its to soft compared to the standard springs

Appreciate what you are saying about the drop on my car but that is just how I wanted it, So easy to live with everyday but you get all of the benefits.

I know I keep harping on about your Springs but I really would be removing them ASAP, They are the wrong Spring for your car and adjusting the Shock Absorber's wont get around the fact you are running FWD Springs on a 4WD car and the Spring Weight Ratings are very different which is why you have got a 30MM Drop on a Spring that is only rated to give a 5/10MM drop!

Finally got some different springs, even though I dont agree with what you say, the rating for the springs on it are only a few KGs lower than standard and as they run lower ratings in the states then it isnt a problem, just sits lower (and dont forget they are progressive so get harder the more compressed).

And lets face it, your springs are very different to those designed for the original car ;) . Thes OEM springs are always a compromise to allow for different peoples tastes, you can go softer or harder depending on how you want it as long as you dont go to far.

got these to go now.

Couldn't really care less if you agree with me or not, I no longer own my 6R.

You fit what you want on your car  :happy2:

I'm on H&R Springs and that looks lower than mine.

I'm 335mm centre to arch. (Just checked)

This looks way lower than that to be fair.

That explains why it looked lower then! Wrong springs.
