however, for the money the fit of the OSIR one is rubbish and takes alot to get it to sit into the recess correctly without it popping out. dont see it as a holy grail of a valance as some R32 owners do...as it will only disappoint.


....Drill holes in the tabs and oem section and use cable ties for a tight fit.

It means you have to cut and replace the cable ties if you need to remove the exhaust trim but that's no big deal.

joe- did u have the foam insert in ur install?
just seen the vortex thread about the r32 fitting-and just wanaa make sure i have got all the parts i need?

EDIT-
JUST HAD RE LOOK ON JOES THREAD-(sorry caps)

i need a shopping list as ive had a mini bonus at work and have moolah to spend....


ive got the bumper-just the bit pic 6 page 2 of joes project thread
does this fit as straight replacement

will order the blueflame catback system next week

i need the lower diffuser/apron-does this fit straight onto the original
then i need to smooth and prime the diffuser

and smooth and prime my new side skirts
(prime the new front splitter...sssshhhh secret)
do i need the foam insert?

anyone think of anything else-this looks like i,m planning for this in feb so wanna get a shift on pleeeeeeezzeeeee

I think you need the foam insert or you can chop the one on your car up to fit.  I think I will buy it saves messing around and will be a perfect fit :happy2:

Do you mean your old bumper or the r32 one? I thought it would be as easy as taking old off, zoorst on, change the foam and whack the r32 on! Maybe not!  :confused:

A list of what is needed would be of great use to me too!  :happy2:

this is not what i got


i have this bumper but it hasnt got all the fittings on the underneath of it if that makes sense- do i need this or does the one i got just fit straight over instead of the stock one. getting stressed now :jumping: :sad1:

I think that would be your only option mate! I got mine of ebay for £25!  :smiley:
Obviously it needs repainting and I have a few other little bits planned  :innocent:
I think from VW its around £250! :surprised:
