I might be in a lot of trouble as my cam follower was totally worn through there is a hole the size of my index finger :surprised: Iv replaced the cam follower but could this mean my cam lobe is affected? First thought that came to mind was where did those pieces go. The last time we changed oil and did an engine flush there fine metal shavings in oil pan when we cleaned it out I had wondered where these came from.
Take it easy.. and if its easy.. Take it home!! :driver:

:sad1: That's not good Sy, as jhook661 has already said, your fuelling is shagged, new pump, camshaft and hope there's no other damage. Drop the sump and through clean. Let us know how you get on

Good luck Sy, it's going to depend on how comprehensive your warranty is, although the cam follower is not considered a serviceable part, so that should go in your favour  :happy2:

Hi guys

So after a long battle my warranty agreed to pay, new cam shaft, new cam follower and hpfp pump. All was fitted, I collected the car and was running beautifully until today after sitting in traffic heard a slight, ticking/knocking sound from the engine, decided to head back to the dealership and just before I got there taking off from a robot.. boom! car starts jerking again,  :sad1: you put your foot down it jerks and cuts petrol, just like before... They plugged it in and its still giving the low fuel pressure error code. Now I really don't know, they asked me to bring the car in Monday so they can check it again. if all these parts were replaced what else could the problem be

I'm sorry but you should have put your foot down and said no your keeping the car till it's fixed as something worse could happen driving it away.
Get them to check your low pressure pump and injector status.
Check for any boost leaks and maybe even the N75 boost valve.

Hope you sort it.
