How much to have the HPFP CAM FOLLOWER changed?
« on: February 12, 2016, 12:59:18 pm »
In preparation for getting a stage 1 map done at R-Tech I want to play safe and get PCV & DV done by them at the same time but want to change the cam follower before the drive up there. I'll check the service history but pretty sure it's not been done before.
Not something I can do so what's the book time a garage would charge and what else is involved?
Cheers.

Depending on the garage,  half to one hour labour.
Without traction power is nothing!

You're both more than kind thanks  :happy2:
I'll ask a couple of local places to see if they can help out.
Reckon the main dealers will charge £50-100 labour if it is 1/2-1 hour.
I'm in Kent if anyone is available.....

Had mine done as part of a general service yesterday, about £50-60 of my final bill including part.
