not running right
« on: February 15, 2016, 06:42:11 pm »
Just noticed this morning car starts fine but seems hesitant on low acceleration and feels missy on tick over. It idols fine and pulls fine, the pcv valves not long been replaced. Could this be coil pack issues, the 70k service is due in a couple of thousand? Any ideas, cheers Phil

I would first inspect all the hoses and connections around the area of the PCV since it was recently replaced. It is not likely the coils are beginning to fail. You usually feel that under heavy load or when at Wide Open Throttle. It would more likely be related to partially closed or fouled intake inlets. I would have the error codes read...as something should be present there even if there is no CEL present.

Have you had a look at giving your throttle body a quick clean and reset?
