Hi and welcome
With mileage like that, FSH and 1 owner I don't think you'll struggle to sell it.
There are plenty of people wanting them, check wanted classifieds.
Check Ebay and other sites for a better guide.
^^^This, don't just jump at the first silly offer of 8k if the cars a minter and I'd pay to have those wheels done as it makes a whole lot of difference to any buyer looking to buy the car. When I went to see my normal fully spec for me gti it didn't have sat nav or xenonx and wheels were kerbed a little but the seller got them fully inside out refurbed for in his own words £35 a corner and they looked brand spanking new. £50 a corner is still good if you want a good price for your car. Still haven't seen any pictures?.  :worthless:

the replies have been great so far, from my own research i have seen edition 30s from £6800 all the way up to £11000 with varying specs and mileage. I am not in a huge rush to sell but at the same time i don't want to advertise it for 1-2 months.

A bit more info regarding the car,

Full Vw history including DSG oil change in 2013 and a cambelt change in 2014.

Heated seats
Parrot bluetooth system
Sliding armrest
an attachment to stick an ipod to inside the armrest.
Michelin Pilot sport S tyres x4 all with 4mm

One of the front wings has small bubbling on it so ( must have had a small scuff on it at one point and got a bit of paint)

Think i will get the wheels refurbed and get a full valet done to it before i sell it. I will of course put it on here first of all so it can go to an enthusiast

You should speak to vw ref the front wing - many have had theirs replaced gratis
Especially with the full VW service history!
Get some pics up!

Is it a common problem then or what's the story?

Both my mk5's had new wings, without full VW history, they were all done for free. It is a big issue, yes. The majority of mk5's have/had bubbling wings.
Problem lies with it being previously painted, VW will likely refute any claim if it is picked up on when they do a thickness test.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Perhaps worth getting the wing looked at by VW. It should be a no cost job and will mean there's no haggling on that. As a buyer they may be concerned the dealer won't play ball.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay.

Not a high spec but low miles. Someone lookiing for a 3dr DSG in grey will be chuffed......factor in cost of wings/wheel refurb in negotiations. As @Ditto says potential buyer may be put off or concerned he/she will have to deal with that.

£9k Max as is IMHO but you never know.

My brother just bought exact same car with 42k on. 1 owner from new full VW service history and loads of receipts in mint Condition for 10500. It was cheap at that!

For yours I would say 10500-11500 depending on other spec like xenons, rns, cruise little bits like that.
As above if the wheels are a real mess I would get them done before selling for what it costs.
The main factor is how long you want to sit on it for and if you need a quick sale. I think it will sell in a couple of weeks at 10500
