Thanks for the comments. :happy2:
I'm just undecided of what I'm going to do-whether to leave it standard,or to mod.If I do go down the modding route,it'll probably be subtle as I don't want the car to look wrong or have huge amounts of unuseable power.
Probably start off with a re-map and filter/exhaust and I still have those black wheels with the polished rims that were on the Audi.Might stick them on in the spring and see how it looks.
Probably not going to do anything that isn't reversable for when the time comes to sell or trade in.
Learnt that lesson the hard way with my Corrado G60.....

im not a fan of body work mods, subtle mods are the way forward, nothing annoys other car drivers when they try to blow you away and fail.

The wheels from the S3 won't fit on the golf due to different pcd (5x100 compared to 5x112).
How do you find the difference between the S3 and golf? Even though I sold my S3 about 4 years ago, I think I still preferred how it drove compared to the golf

Damn. And heres me thinking that they were the same pcd.Dunno where I got that idea from....
I really liked the S3,but I started to find it a bit boring and not that fast TBH.I think the Quattro system sapped a lot of power and it was heavy, but it did handle well thanks to that 4wd.
Unfortunately, there were a lot of small niggles about the build quality starting to come thru, but it was getting on for eight years old.All in all,I prefer the Golf, though.
