Broken high pressure fuel pump sensor!!!
« on: July 07, 2014, 11:18:24 pm »
Hi as above, my mates engine cover has broke its rubber lugs and in turn has snapped the sensor on top of the fuel pump, I've read a few post on the internet and the are all saying that vw doesn't sell this sensor on its own, and that you have to buy a new fuel pump? Any info would be really appreciated thanks sam.

What you read is correct so check for a second hand one in the for sale section.

Hi old post I know but I have a crack in my sensor I have noticed and having problems with very slight fuel cuts, would this cause this? Or would the cam follower be the cause? Thanks.

I managed to do the same thing but I fixed it with a bit of super glue and works perfect
