Best manufacturer of tyre for stretch

Hey guys,

A couple of months ago I had a set of kumho ecsta 215/35 r18 tyres fitted to my 8.5j 3sdms, and seemed all round pretty decent in handling and grip etc but I have now found quite serious sidewall bubbles in 3 out of the 4 tyres, so I want to go for a brand of tyre that's going to last a bit longer. I want to use the same size 215/35 on 8.5j, and am looking into toyo proxes t1r, and wondered if anyone had any experience with this particular tyre or could recommend something else?

Why not get decent tryes such as Michelin pilot super sport or Goodyear Eagle Asymmetrical F1s.

No point having a nice car but only being able to potter around beacaude you've bought cheap/sh*t tyres.

Iv got falkens on my 3sdms and my rotas  and I like how they stretch, grip is pretty decent too

completely agree with this but I didn't think toyos were sh*t tyres to be fair?

I've got falkens on and the bloody road noise keeps making think the rear wheel bearings have gone "banging my head on the wall".

I've got a 225 Michelin PSS on a 9j. No worries, they actually sit quite wide so not even that noticeable and they're the best all round tyres you can get  :innocent:
