Ordered a Pipercross panel filter but...

I should have checked before I ordered it.....do I need to order some oil for it?
Think I've read on here somewhere that you don't use it with the GTIs as it messes something up?

I've not heard anything bad about the panel filter yet but and can't remember what @Dan_FR told me on my pflow thread regsding most filters and I think he has tried many types - wow I remember his user name now dodo braon doesn't always function   

Ps don't use the oil as it may well mess your MAF up but don't quote me on that until the experts have replied

No as mentioned run it dry, then just wash it out and allow to air dry each service
