ATE Power Discs and Pads
« on: March 01, 2016, 01:31:55 pm »
Hi all,

Looking at getting these for my Mk6 Golf R (running approx. 400bhp). Are they any good? Admittedly, I've not heard of them before, until someone mentioned them to me the other day. My fronts are due pretty soon.
Also, I can't seem to find a supplier for them (Essex).

Cheers

Emma

Any suggestion? Don't want to go down the route of big brake conversions

I was going to go for the DS2500 pads but are they road legal?

No. You'd have to fit Ferodo DS Performance pads if you really want to run with road legal pads. The DS2500 are good for daily driving. I have them in my rear R32 brake setup.

DBA makes really good brake discs. A bit expensive, though.
