Anybody used http://www.oemretrofits.co.uk/ for Nav upgrade?
« on: December 29, 2009, 03:16:14 pm »
About to upgrade my standard unit and stumbled across these guys.

Can't seem to find much about them by the search function on here, anybody had any dealings with them?

Seems very reasonable considering they come and fit it.

ALSO - what's the best solution for the 510 re: ipod connectivity? not particularly bothered about steering wheel control etc. ideally I just want a phono-in, and be able to control it from the ipod itself.

thanks
Ed

Emailled them once, phoned twice, was promised a call back - never happened. I would steer well clear.

I purchased mine off eBay, but there is someone on here - see for sale column, who is selling them. Easy to fit as well.

Ref iPod fit the VW Mdi, plug and play, only approx 130 and full control. I've run my lead to my ashtray so I have full access to my iPhone as well. Simples

Thanks, have emailed him.

re: ipod, £130  :surprised:

Is there not just a phono-style line-in like my BMW 335i had?

What does it consist of?

thanks
