Heater blower
« on: March 03, 2016, 03:12:50 pm »
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can give me abit of advice, I've searched re site for hours but am struggling to find anyone with similar symptoms.
Anyway here goes my heater blower as stopped working the control panel all lights up fine all settings but no blowing?
Things I've tried so far

Checked all fuses - all good
12v supply to the heater motor - all good
Gave motor 12v and it kicked in - plugged back together and it worked fine for two days!! Then it stopped again?
I'm guessing if I do the same it'll work again for a couple of days and pack up,

The garage can't find any faults, so shall I splash out and get a new blower motor even tho it works with direct power?
I'm abit stuck with one, any help will be hugely appreciated .
Thanks in advance lee

Anyone, can't just be mine it's happened to?
Had it to bits and put back together this morning and it works fine again, very odd thinking it can't be that serious

Heater blower resistor. did one outside eurocarparts for a west indian fella who came in one late afternoon and I happen to be there asking about rear cherry lights with my big ears listening lol I tapped it and it was all working again  :signLOL: guy was so happy.
