They're aftermarket chrome effect things, and would probably look a bit dodgy..

Can't say for sure if they're the exact same set as mine, hopefully somebody can clarify whether there's a specific size you'd need.

The ones that were on the Monzas were a perfect fit on the VZ though.

I bought some grey 17mm bolt covers from eBay, looked great and blended right in. No pic im afraid and no link, was years ago.

thanks AJP and MC71 i brought some genuine vw ones from eBay. went for black as don't think they look too bad better than my standard bolts! does any one know what torque they have to be? cheers

Can't tell you how much they should be torqued up. I've always done mine by feel. Probably not ideal but I've never had problems...!

Just a bit of advice regarding locking bolts - make sure you don't overtighten them. There's loads of accounts of people saying certain brands are crap, but in most cases they've been overtightened and get damaged when they need too much force to shift.
