Hi does any one know if the mk7 golf r 310mm rear brakes fit the mk5 gti

Of corse they are they must be off mk6 there painted black and the fronts have a black r caliper retaining clip on them.

If the handbrake is electrical, forget about the mk7. Get the R32 brakes but from TRW, instead from VW. Much cheaper option. They're the same, the VW mark is just scrapped. You can later painted red, since they come blue.
