Cost of fitting a Milltek TBE
« on: March 09, 2016, 01:16:31 pm »
I'm thinking about getting a used Milltek TBE.

A local VW Indy specialist down here in south west London just quoted me nigh on £200 to remove the standard exhaust and fit the Milltek.

Seem hellish expensive to me... Is that about right?!

Shouldn't take more than 2 hours.

Shouldn't take more than 2 hours.

Thanks, most places down here are £60 an hour minimum.

Go to an indie garage then. 2 hour job would be 120.

The local Indy quoted me £200! They must be allowing 3 hours

No way it'll take £200's worth of time to fit.

I'd have thought 1-1.5 hours tops  :happy2:
