Closing The Bonnet
« on: February 29, 2016, 05:46:06 pm »
So this is my first car with a bonnet stay that is pressurised, according to the manual I should push the bonnet down to overcome the pressure then let it drop, however my bonnet seems to have pressure all the way down to the latch.

Is this right, if so how do I close the bonnet?

Yeah sounds about right. I find a light 'slam' will help it latch in first time. Prevents the possibility of putting a dent in the bonnet when you push it with the palm of your hand to get it to lock.
