Remove Interior Grab Handles
« on: March 10, 2016, 08:12:56 am »
Passenger, & 2 Rear (5dr)

I've read many posts regarding this, however none relating to the actual grab handles themselves.  I'm trying to replace all grab handles, trim, and switches in my car. I've managed to successfully do the drivers side, however I've unclipped the outer trim from the front passenger, removed 2 T27 screws, however I can feel screws, screwed in from the opposite side.

Do I really need to remove the full door card to replace these?

Its not to bad but frustrating when the drives is so straigh forward and the fact you only have to undo one screw from the other side.

I did mine on Monday & there were 2 screws to remove on the inside.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=f3dpFzU7hwc I found this on YouTube was particularly helpful. Even tells you how to get those pesky clips out too.
