Hey I'm looking at changing a few things for my car and just need some advice on if these would be the best parts ?

Spark Plugs - NGK BKR7EIX

Cam Follower - 06D109309R

Diverter Valve - 06F145710G

PCV - 06F129101R

and also what would be the best oil to use ? its a manual and I've been told 5w40 anyone recommend any brand names ?

thanks in advance :D

Yeah those are the right part numbers, most prefer the rev G dv over the rev D.

Depends who you ask regarding plugs, some say stick with oem bosch, others prefer the NGKs. I think if you're running bigger power the NGKs could be an equal option.

Castrol Edge 5w30 or Quantum longlife 3 5w30. Apparently they are the same thing, but Quantum is usually much cheaper. eBay has it at £25 for 5 litres.

It does depend what's in the car right now. You don't really want to mix oil grades.

Look at the service book and ring whoever serviced it last time, or ask the previous owner.

The best thing to do is to just have it changed again. I do that whenever I buy a car. Buy the oil: £25
Filter: £10 I think?

Not much for peace of mind.
