Cam follower changed today

A mate changed this for me today, 96k miles. Piece of mind now..... cheers for the guide vRS Carl  :happy2:  :congrats:


Trying to work out if mine was stage 1 or 2 in the Rtech wear scale?!  :scared:

You'll be ok damage wise I would think, but it needed changing!

I still need to do mine. Was supposed to do it last weekend.

Have you got the link to the guide you followed and how easy/hard was it?

The car should run the same, Its not something that will effect the running unless the follower fails.....Then it gets expensive!

Should be a serviceable item, I replaced mine on my 40K Golf R within the First Week of ownership. Annoyed the hell out of me driving the car and not knowing if it had ever been replaced.
