It's £325 at my dealer for a major service, (fixed price) the price went up last month, used to be £299 so I'm not sure how you were quoted £294?
You do get genuine VW parts at the dealerships whereas elsewhere they tend to use universal parts which are cheaper.

Yes it's £159 and £329, although it can vary depending on franchise ie if they are running a promotion (some are still offering £299)
I sent mine in for minor service and I have them do odd bits like dual mass flywheel and cambelt, the rest I'll look after myself
