Gold pescaras
« on: March 13, 2016, 10:40:51 pm »
Hi all

Contemplating getting my pescaras powdercoated in gold..anyone have any pics by any chance as I can't see anything online on a white MK5..

I'm thinking gold with red BBS centre caps..thoughts?

Also - anyone seen pescaras in any other colours apart from the usual silver/anthracite?

Not pescaras but saw this online and thought it looked really good

My Ed. 30 had gold Pescaras before I bought it. I didn't like so I bought the car without the wheels included. I already had OZ Ultraleggeras on my GT Sport, so I swapped them to the Ed. 30.

Here are some of pictures of gold Pescaras in a Candy White Ed. 30:

Too flashy for my taste. Even my Ultras are too flashy when I pass by the Police...

Thanks for the pics - it does look a bit flashy but I think in a nice way. Makes the car stand out a bit more from the norm if you know what I mean. Most wheels are silver/grey/black

It's a matter of personal taste. I already get too much attention with my white car and anthracite wheels with big red calipers. :signLOL:

We plasti-dipped our VZ's in gold a while back to see what it would look like.

Ive been thinking of having my Pescara's refurbed in gold on my CW Ed30. I personally think its looks great!

Just not too keen on the idea of it attracting too much unwanted attention with it being my daily

@ed30Lewis I think like @Shoduchi said earlier being white it does that anyway lol

I read somewhere someone saw it done in a more of a mix between bronze and gold and it looked less bling but I'm not sure how that would turn out. After seeing the pics on here @Mandy made a good shout on plasti dipping and if you don't like it after you can always take it off. That might be the road I take and see how it goes  :happy2:

Shoayb the first pic you put up, looks the biz as there is a silver/chrome outer edge - if you can do this it would look absolutely awesome. Compare that pic to the other pics and you'll know what I mean.

However, the all gold colour on it's own doesn't do it for me.

Bronze coloured wheels look epic, ive been drooling over VMR's wheels recently in a custom bronze coloured paint called Sunken Treasure.....
