You had a cool mot tester lol

I'm not worried about the mot but the vrack getting bigger and I don't have the time to have it repaired due to work.

@4ndy I was thinking that but will they come out on weekends as I had an issue with the prats the last time my tt screen was maliciously cracked at my last job. it was alone the bottom of the screen right the way across.

this ones passenger side mid way. I'm thinking help it to the driver side and hope for the beat but I can't be without my car as needed for work.

Any after effects? Creaks, groans, leaks, etc? Presumably they are bonded in with some kind of glue.
Also, how do you insist / know that it's a genuine VW part? Is there a VW logo or something?

Must have the VW logo, yes. Not just the glass brand.

Your insurer likely won't play ball. They'll have a contract with a supplier and they'll want to stick with that. Getting genuine VW glass will cost them a lot more.
