P0100 + P0101 + P0299 - Faulty MAF sensor???
« on: March 19, 2016, 04:24:59 pm »
Hi y'all

I've been experiencing flat spots at 2000-2500rpm and 4500-5000rpm.

Today I had the car read and it threw up the following fault codes:

P0100 mass or volume air flow circuit malfunction - intermittent.

P0101 mass or volume air flow circuit range/performance problem - intermittent.

P0299 turbo/supercharger underboost - intermittent.

The MAF amps were tested and were fine, but am I right to assume this still doesn't mean the MAF is okay.

The grams per second on idle was 4 and as it began to increase under load, at 2000rpm crashed down to virtually nothing.

I'm heading to R Tech on Wednesday and don't want to go there with any issues and be turned away. Especially as it's a 500 mile round trip.

Forget that! It's the MAF, disconnected and it drives  like a dream!
