New ed30 owner - North Staffs

Hi,

Just bought an ed30 - black 5 door manual - #1328.
Plenty of factorys options on it(Lux pack, Winter pack, MFD2 sat nav, 10 speakers, rear tints, iPod dock, MFSW and Parrot bluetooth) and in great condition.
Standard except for Anti lift kit, pipercross panel filter and some interior trim tweaks.
I've had VAG cars for the majority of my driving career, might try and make this one a keeper for a while due to expanding family imminent.

Will get some photos up soon, although here's one stolen from a previous owner.....


My future plans include:
Full service required now (any advice on best products).
Due it's second cam belt now (water pump and anything else to change at same time?)
R-Tech re-map (a bit concerned about potential clutch slip issues or will i be OK?)
H and R lowering springs seem to have good reviews
Pescara wheel refurb
Maybe a stainless exhaust in the distant future
Need to investigate best upgrade to the MFD2 sat nav system.

Sure I will be asking a few questions along the way.

I upgraded from an MFD2 to the RNS510 as i wanted to keep the oem look & it's so much better! I also have an R-Tech remap and cant fault it or their service! Regarding springs i chose the Eibach sportlines & have had zero issues so far. No rubbing.

Had the car 9 months now and still love it, probably the best all round car I've had, and I've had some nice stuff in the past.

Things I've done int he 9 months:
Full service.
Cam belt + water pump and all accessories.
Replaced ipod dock with 6 disc changer as I didn't have a compatibel ipad
Pre-cat delete.
R-Tech stage 1 - 309hp.   
Lots and lots of cleaning and polishing.

Unfortunately I need funds for a hosue extension so it may need to be passed on to a new owner soon.
Sad times.
