I'll be fitting Continental sport contact 5s on my GTi, I have them on my re mapped Caddy 2.0 tdi & its transformed the van, great tyre IMO.

Had very good experience with two full sets of Hankook Ventus EVO V12's on my Audi 2.0TFSI Avant.  Conti sports on the golf but will be changing them soon...

Fitted 4 goodyear eagle F1 Assymetric 3 but I preferred my 4 Pirelli P-Zero

Why did you prefer the Pirelli? Stiffer side wall?

When I take tight 90degree corners at speed (trying to beat a red light) my pirellis always held their ground and the front wheels could pull me out of it without spinning or the back kicking out. The Goodyear feel harder and I can feel the car sliding doing this exact same manoeuvre!
