Desperate for a parking space!

It's unbelievable what people will do to get out of paying. Last year someone reversed into me whilst I was parked. I got out and the old man just denied it flat out. There wasn't any damage when I inspected it and it wasn't my car so I just couldn't be bothered with the arguing. But seriously, an old man reversed into me (causing a moderate jolt) and then denied it 10 seconds later.

I had a woman crash reverse into my tt when I parked up at the shop to get some vegetables and she said why am I driving a black car for

So is she actually slightly bumping the cars behind and in front of her to gauge when to stop?
People like this make me disproportionately scared of parking on the roadside.

Italy, Spain and France are scary countries to have a car parked on the street (in decreasing order). From the few foreign countries I've visited.

Maybe before there was a Smart Fortwo parked in that space or something similar.

I was parked outside mine a few months back and I had 15mm space from back and front as two baskeets blocked me in but I made it out with a few good turns although I was cursing ans the misses didn't say anything. stupid people don't think about others.
