Fellow GTI'ers, I need your help about a new GTI Grill Badge...

I just cut the 2 threaded bars off the back and stuck the badge to the grill with resin!

However, the red bit of the letters is actually a sticker of some sort, and 2 of mine have fallen out somewhere. If I was doing it again if probably fork out the money for a genuine badge.

However because I bonded my badge in place I'm going to steal the wife's nail varnish and colour it in again!

Sllightly off topic, but how easy is it to remove the grill as in your photo?
I want to remove mine to blacken it but ideally needs 24hrs without getting wet, which at the moment isn't goint to happen 

Dead easy- 2 screws on top & 2 holding/under the number plate, two clips on top and it lifts up and out

Be very careful how you place it back in as one of my tabs at the bottom have snapped although it doesn't affect the fitting.
