Car Valuation - White Mk5 Gti with RNS510

Hi all,

Selling my car for an upgrade due in a months time (very excited!)

Is £7.4k about right for my advert?
 
White Mk 5 Golf Gti
Manual, 5 door
60,850 Miles
Full Service History
Includes the manufacturer upgraded Sat Nav & DVD Player.
Cambelt, Tensioners and Waterpump changed Jul'13 at Midland VW.
Last Serviced Dec'15.
Car will be MOT'd this week, so will come with 12 months MOT.
Premium/good tyres all round
I am the 3rd owner and have owned the car four and a half years.

I think thats about right-due to late plate, low miles, and good history. Looks like you've looked after it too.
White seems quite scarce compared to other colours too. Obviously expect a few bob haggling room but yeah, doesn't seem an unreasonable price.
Where are you advertising it? Just here?
And I must ask.... What is the 'incoming upgrade'? Intrigued!

I've gone for an Alpine White BMW 440i Coupe with all the toys!

I would think closer to 7k tbh  , when its on auto trader it will be competing with cars same age , mileage like this car

Fair comment, when looking at prices, I was looking at white ones however shouldn't have discounted other colours.

Low spec car in a not particularly desired colour. Those painted bumpers aren't doing it any favours. 

I think your price is right. White commands a premium and it really suits the MK5 GTI.
