Not a bad start, will need a few goes but so far pleased with the results

What product have you used on the wheel as mine looks the same and was looking at trying to restore it?

For the steering wheel I found a bottle of Porsche leather conditioner in my dads garage. It's really old stuff but worked really well. I would have though any decent leather cleaning and conditioning kit would o the same.

I used the C4 on all the external plastics. It's not cheap stuff but the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend it.

As it was such a nice weekend, would have been a shame not to get the cars out.

I think she holds her own well

Replaced all the centre caps today, this was the best one:

To this:

While the wheels were off I cleaned up the calipers with some steam and elbow grease, my 72 year old dad wanted to get involved. Go pop.

Awesome! Never too old to be cleaning cars  :drinking:

Car looks great!

Chris
It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Refurbed the osr caliper today, now I realise how much I need to do the rest!!

Cleaned (again) first the rubbed it down with sand paper.

Then once it was all masked up, started with some red smooth hammeright.

Pretty chuffed with the result

Neuspeed induction kit arrived this week, had a bit of time so fitted it this afternoon.

Love the whoosh sound you get from it.

And finally fitted this

Funny isn't it, how a little red switch can make such a difference to the feel in the car. Did mine a couple of weeks ago as well as interior LED's and it's amazing how much nicer it is. It's the little touches that really make a car.  :drinking:

Totally agree Chris, one of my centre lights has gone so I need to replace mine. Where did you source yours from? Are they an eat fit?

It was this kit (link below) I bought and am very pleased with it. The lights came in little bags with tags on each bag as to where they went as there are several different types of LED. Only tool I needed for most of them was a plastic trim pry tool and it was super easy. The only other tool I needed was iirc a small torx bit to remove the centre front dome light as this made it easier rather than trying to pull the bulbs down out of it with it still in the roof as they are hard to get a hold of and didn't want to break them.

You can see what they look like in my build thread. Very nice white light and at night when the interior lights come on then it's like daylight in the car.

Cheers,

Chris

No worries, I used this video as a reference too although he doesn't take the front dome down he just pulls the bulbs out from underneath:

My only other bit of advice is for the foot well and boot light make sure and disconnect the bulb holder from the wiring loom before putting the led in. I forgot to do this with the boot light, popped out the old one, put the new one in and it popped the fuse... doh! Thankfully I had a spare 7.5amp fuse so just replaced it and all working ok.

Just send me a pm if you get stuck and I can send you some more detailed pics of how I did them. I still can't believe how bright and white they are.

Cheers,

Chris
