I'm with you on this too but then again, i'm happy i have the GTI
(Bit off topic here)I still look at Ed30's and R32's now but no matter if i had the money I don't think i could get another MK5.
I even ask myself quite often... "If i had £5000+, would i sell up and get a newer golf / rocco GTI / R or would I spend it on things like a complete colour change respray / big power upgrades / wheels etc and make this car unique to my liking and keep it for years to come adding more milage and not caring about depreciation etc...
