Oil pressure problem
« on: April 02, 2016, 10:10:48 am »
I have a golf edition 30 and i had the oil pressure light come one last week, i took the sump off and cleaned the pick up as its a common problem. Put it all back together, new oil, new oil filter and oil pressure light comes on again! What could the problem be? its only got 47,000 miles on the clock!

Has your oil pump issue caused any other engine damage?? If not then that's a seriously cheap motor! Wish I had the money spare for it mate.

Would be worth actually putting a pressure gauge on it to actually see whats going on
