Did a bit more on the golf this afternoon.

After fitting the front wings the bonnet was sitting forward so did a bit of alignment and fits a lot better with the wings.

Cleaned and got a couple of pics.

Cleaned up my front calipers and gave them a coat of paint along with the discs. Got to clean the discs up tomorrow once dry but looks better than it did.

Audio shop have ordered me a new sub box. Gone for a fibreglass one this time.

Rear spoiler extension from SRS etc and thinking of there side skirts also as look better than the R32 ones.

Wheels are going in on Wednesday for refurb.

Your GTI looks great! Great work done! :happy2:

I'd paint the wheels inserts in gloss black like the mk6 GTI have. Prefer it to grey inserts.

This is looking awesome especially the rear end.... have you thought about getting a plate made up with magnets? Would look great.
Quick question, with your rear valance have you had the lower left abs or painted it gloss? Thinking of going for a similar rear.

Police are very hot on number plates now so keep it legal as it is.

Lower section of bumper is gloss black same as the front.

Got a little bit done on the golf today.

Finished my front brakes and cleaned up the discs.

Rear spoiler extension arrived from Germany. Test fit before it goes to the bodyshop.

Rear discs and calipers all painted up.

Picked wheels up and got my tyres fitted.

Got them all fitted.

Looks a lot better apart from the 50 shades of grey the car is at the moment.

Coilovers needed now but in talks with a company so hopefully get something soon.

Yes it's the SRS etc one. Needs a bit of adjustment and finishing off.

I always look forward to need updates on this thread. Really nice work fella.

How did you paint the discs and what did you use? I take it the pads wear away any over spill in time?

Looks brilliant!

Great work.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.
