Got my mk6 boot handle finished off.

Managed to get it installed after trying to get the wiper out of the way.

Come out quite well I think.

Full picture with the new plate position please

As requested.

I have cut the bracket down to try and get it closer to the bumper as it does stick out to far. Painting it at the moment.

Couple now the H&R's have settled.

Also fitted my wiper delete.

Quake plus fitting kit and vent is about £130.

Mine is from a mk6 golf. Takes a bit to get it off as quite a lot of clips holding it on.

Ordered one off eBay and fits well with no movement.

Will get some pics tomorrow then I might try to reduce the depth a bit.

Thanks for this man, the Din arrived and as you said, fits like a dream!

Glad it fitted.

Had a bit of a nightmare on Sunday with the car. Went out for a spirited drive and got the dreaded low oil pressure warning. Left it to cool for a while and limped it home and it did not come on again. Garage picked it up on Monday and did it under warranty for me. Said the oil pickup was half blocked and cleaned all the sump out. Replaced the PCV this afternoon with a rev R.

Started the car and the cam chain rattle seams to be louder than it previously was so don't know if the low oil pressure has done anything. Informed the garage so just got to wait for the owner to come back from holiday on Thursday.

Got some bits fitted this afternoon.

Depo headlights in with HID's and amber side lights. Just need to get them adjusted.

Currently working away but mechanic has had the golf in and check it over and said cam chain is fine so that's good. Oil pickup was 50% blocked so got it in time.

Carbon bits have arrived for my doors to replace the scratched gloss black times between the glass. Brakes are not the best after sitting for 7 months so got a full set of brembo discs and minted pads coming for the time being. Going to fit caddy rear calipers and Porsche front calipers I think at the moment.

Also ordered bits to do a evap delete as some of the pipe work looks damaged.

Found a pic from a local meeting prior to putting my lights in. Need to get my legal plates fitted as well.

Surprised how well it looks as paint still needs mopping again.

Got a couple of jobs done on the car after working away for a while.

Carbon door pillar trims fitted.

New brakes turned up as mine are not the best with it standing for 7 months.

Fitted my legal gel plates and Mick checked my aircon over and re gassed it.

Got my chrome switch's to fit tomorrow and get started on my amp install for the sub.
