Good morning on the golf fitting a couple of bits.

First off new plugs and coil packs.

Got my boost gauge to fit so started the strip down.

Found a dirty mess under the scuttle panel.

All cleaned up and looking a lot better.

Gauge fitted and pipe work checked.

All finished and wired in.

Couple more bits I have.

Cherry hazard switch but will wait until my new stereo arrives.
Ignition switch block but will fit it when my new MFSW airbag loom turns up.

Cheers for the comments.

DVLA have screwed up transferring my plate so waiting for that to be sorted.

Stereo will hopefully be here this week.
Had a play with vagcom and done the following.
Beep on lock and unlock.
Auto lock and unlock.
USA running lights.
Fogs as cornering lights.

Still waiting for my MFSW loom to arrive.

Keep getting intermittent fault codes on the ignition so ordered a new switch that clips into the back of the barrel.

Got my log book back at last so plate put on.

New stereo installed. Not happy with the surround so will get another one.

Got two usb extensions into the section under the arm rest. Will get a single din pocket to go in and house my iPod.

THS FR3 lower mount and new bolt ready to go in soon.

Going to see Olsen tomorrow to get my highline clocks coded in  :happy2:

The side bolsters of the seat aren't leather they're vinyl.  You could try one of those generic vinyl repair kits if you want to tidy up the bits on the drivers seat that have worn away.

I only know this as mine has gone too and I'm having it retrimmed in leather next month - it's a right con as it was an expensive option from new for "full leather"!

Aparently quite a few manufacturers do it, just the bits you sit on are leather with the rest vinyl.

So that strip with the mark in his pic is vinyl? Wow that adds insult to injury, one bit that has always irritated me it the use of cloth on the lower cushion that runs by the centre console. Utter rip off.

Not got a lot done due to constant rain today but went through my parts bins from previous cars and got a couple of bits I can use.

Found 5 new puddle lights for the doors with looms so will get them done some time.

Found a pair of plastic door latch covers and fitted them.

Test fitted my pioneer amp under the passenger seat and fits spot on so will get that installed for my sub. Just need to order a box as already got a 10" JL sub.

Removed the GTI badge off the boot.

Ordered some more bits as well.

Resin 3D number plates.
OEM led number plate lights.
Pair of lower ball joints as the rubbers are starting to perish.
Mk6 boot handle and gloss black badge. Going to colour code the bit behind the badge.
Gloss black VW grille badge.
Number plate bracket for the front.
Set of new controls for steering wheel as mine have a couple of marks in.
Black coloured leather balm to restore the steering wheel and gear knob.
Set of window switch's and headlight switch with chrome on.

After a week away with work got a couple of deliveries and got kracking.

Oem led number plate lights fitted.

Sorted din pocked for iPod and iPhone in centre arm rest.

Mk6 rear boot handle badge removed and started prep and paint.

Just need to polish it and fit my gloss black VW logo on.

Number plate bracket turned up but paint was poor quality. Cameo off when you touched it so repainted.

May shorten it so it sits closer to the bumper but allows air into the open grille as it is.

Couple of more bits to do over the weekend.

Will get some pics tomorrow then I might try to reduce the depth a bit.
