Stalling on start up
« on: April 02, 2016, 01:26:08 pm »
Hi my mk5 gti has started to be a pain to start sometimes. Sometimes it cranks for ages then fires up. Nearly stalls then comes back to life. Drives fine. Engine managment light came on the other day. Scanned it with a basic scanner and came up as speed sensor. Could these be linked.
Any help would be greatly appriciated

It done it again today and cel popped up. Plugged the basic code reader in and its 00135. Fuel rail pressure. Its like there is not enough fuel getting to engine then it dies right down then pops back up and feels fine again

Also i have noticed a massive flat spot around 5k. Iv checked high pressure pump cam and that looks spotless. Its a stage 3 gti k04 with cdl engine.

Maybe my lpfp is on its way out.
