Are they proposing a limited number ? Haven't seen it in black and white anywhere ??

A couple of car magazines have claimed it's a limited build of 1000. I contacted a dealer who claims it is a limited build (but didn't specify a number).
It doesn't seem to say it anywhere on VW's official documentation visible to the public that I have found, and neither the Edition 30 or 35 were limited build, so I would be surprised if it was.
That said, given that I can't purchase one for another year or so (and I do quite fancy one), I'm guessing this time it'll actually be a limited build and I'll miss out lol. That's often how my luck goes!

Don't forget you can also get £4K discount on the R through Drive the Deal. Making it was cheaper than the Edition 40.

Being previewed at Worthersee apparently. But they have also binned off the R400.
