Well, personally I don't think its chavvy at all, I think it looks purposeful and aggressive, but there have been comments made by people in the past suggesting/implying that they think its a bit chavvy. And it wouldn't be a reflection on me either because I couldn't be further from being a chav (incase anyone wondered haha!)
Yes Robin, I'm definitely a driver, maybe "show car" was the wrong words. I've been surfing the M3 forums for a while now, and so many people just completely ruin the car by just putting aggressive looking/chrome/deep dish/more track orientated wheels on the car - particularly the Yanks. IMO it just ruins the car totally!! You would be surprised to see some of these examples, they make me feel sick!! I just don't think that the 'racing' or 'track' look suits the M3.
My thought with the BBS LM's is that they are a very strong, well made wheel, and I gather are lighter than the stock wheels too. The car will also be put on coilovers, all bushes done, uprated front strut brace etc etc etc so it will definitely be able to handle well. It will look like a "show car" with respect to putting the LM's on which look very classy, slamming it on the coils and a few subtle bodywork changes (no new splitters/bumpers, just subtle changes!)
I'll be sure to put a build thread on here if the mods will let me. I don't really want to leave this community!
