I'm not sure matsu. Numerous people on here have tried to sell stock springs and dampers but I don't believe many (if any) have actually sold. It seems that there isn't much of a market out there for them. Right after my Bilsteins were fitted I tried selling them on here, and had no luck whatsoever, then I tried selling them on ukmkivs.net - hoping that perhaps someone with a lower spec Golf might either be building a GTI replica or wanted a 10mm drop only, but yet again there was no interest shown in them whatsoever!

Sorry mate.

You're much better off keeping them for when the time comes to move on.
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Agreed  :happy2:

I'm so happy that mine didn't sell, because it's made my life so much easier! In hindsight I should have also kept my Monza II's and the original exhaust. Although I think I'll be ok with the exhaust, the wheels are causing an issue lol!

See Chris it worked out ok, not being able to sell your original suspension.

I hope you will put your Beamer build thread on here for us to look at, should be a great read.   :drinking:

And its really only ever been you doubting your mods all the time, most on here have agreed with all your mods.
You have got to remember when your the first or one of them to do new mods you have to expect lots of raised eyebrows  :star:

I dont think anyone thought it was Chavvy.   :happy2:

Chris, is that the standard splitter and skirts painted? Looks good. What's with the dodgy re-touch beneath the N/S headlight?

Robin - I still can't see the link, even if I copy and paste it into the address bar.

Robin - the picture doesn't show and when i click on it to open in another window I get this: "AccessDeniedRequest has expired23F3F4D9A5DAD9CB2010-01-13T18:40:51ZmKTOKk8pqIWrNqxc4VOlNhK3AxoEO7Eth5yPwHRoTc9bE0kPcoqTGALnjWCx//S02010-01-13T19:06:56Z"

Nick - Basically, the suspension and the exhaust are on hold for cmdrfire as he was the first person to enquire about them when they were advertised in my signature. I agreed to contact him when they are available. IIRC you are third in line? Or maybe second...I can't remember at this present time but I have it all as evidence in my PM Inbox, so obviously I would consult that to find out the order of people if cmdrfire no longer wants them!

Hahaha, you're more than welcome to the TD's, you would love how they drive

Actually, this is my fault for not making myself clear.....the majority of the comments came from outside this forum and from friends/friends of friends/3rd party comments that i occasionally hear. I know that most on here 'get' what my car is all about, but I guess that people in the outside world may not quite understand it - as per what Greenouse said!

Robin - I still can't see the link, even if I copy and paste it into the address bar.

Yep thats the standard splitter and skirts just colour-coded!

The dodgy re-touch is a photoshop edit because my numberplate is there! The bonnet vinyl really screams for the continuation of the black onto the front mask, and with the white numberplate on there it just broke up the black and looked out of place IMO! So i re-located it to under the N/S headlight. It is a sticker plate, completely illegal as the font size is too small, and it is non-reflective. I appreciate that the positioning does not look the best, but (bit like an Alfa), but i prefer the gain from having the front all black

Great choice in the new motor BTW i loved my E46 M3, you will need to have deep pockets for the M modding game though.
the best MODs i done to the M3 were Eisenmann Race exhaust and i can recommend the HSD coilovers Brilliant, Upgrading your brakes should be top of the list though (if you like a track day or two)

a liitle list of things to watch out for.

Rough Diff (can some times be fixed with an updated oil) although many have required a new diff 2.5K
Seized caliper ( Very Common )
Watch out for cracked subframes ( reasonably Common and a 4-8K Fix )
Rust under the door catch cover.
Trailing arm bush ware, If fecked i would recommend upgrading to OEM CSL bushes With rouge engineering Bush limiters, this keeps OEM comfort with Poly ridgidity.

You are gong to love It mate, best car ever. I just found it to expensive to get it the way i wanted it, it easily could of absorbed 10k, roll in the GTI
