Mfd2 vs Android
« on: April 25, 2016, 07:38:11 pm »
Evening all,

Stuck here, I currently have a mfd2 and I have tapped into the rear doors to run an amp. Thing is, the sound quality is 'below average'. I have previously spent fortunes on car stereo upgrades and I do believe you can never be told old to appreciate a decent sounding stereo. Thing is, for the money I am looking to spend to upgrade without fitting a facia adapter and making it obvious I have an aftermarket stereo fitted, I can only really afford an Android unit which of course comes with Bluetooth etc, which is also I thing I want.

My question is, is there any noticeable increase in sound quality from anyone who has bought one compared with the mfd2?

I am not looking for major increases, as I know this will definitely not happen, but just more curious if there is any difference?

Ta

i went from MFD2 to RNS510 and I'm sure there are better head units for sound than the RNS but i found it to be a significant improvement in terms of sound. could do with some straight swap plug and play speakers though once i have some cash for them
