MFSW Skip track/change station not working
« on: April 25, 2016, 07:14:26 pm »
As above really, the up and down buttons on the right side of steering wheel will change between mpg, average speed etc. but when I switch to audio menu in MFD they do not change the radio station or skip track on a CD.

Anyone know why this is?

Thanks

Check coding on the Steering Control Module, when I retrofitted my MFSW, I recoded it and it wouldn't skip on the audio menu like yours..the only way I could get it to work was to change the coding for having the wiper stalk buttons. Take a note of what number the stalk option has and change it, I turned the stalk OFF.

It then gave me an error code about the Control Module being incorrectly coded but everything works exactly as it should but I could skip tracks on the audio menu with the MFSW buttons

Did you manage to solve the issue AlexR?

I have recently upgraded to high line clocks and the newer mfsw controls and have lost the ability to skip tracks.

I upgraded my head unit to an RNS510 and have lost functionality to fast forward via the MFSW. I understand it's to do with the head unit being newer
