Interior mods ?
« on: January 13, 2010, 11:06:02 pm »
Just wondering what can be done to jazz up the interior ?

Ive got a couple of bits of carbon fibre so far, GTI seat inserts and aluminium heater surrounds and mirror adjuster, apart from that i cant see much more parts that would look good.

Has anyone got any other bits and bobs that look good in the GTI ?

A change in interior lighting colour via LED or colour coding some plastics?

Depending how old your car is (came standard until 2006) the Alu ashtray cover makes a massive difference IMO!  :happy2:

I was thinking about getting the aluminium inserts for the steering wheel where the multi function butons would go.

Saw them once on ebay and haven't seen them since........ :chicken:

PITA to fit but inexpensive from the dealers. I do believe Markymark purchased and fitted one fairly recently.  :happy2:

not a fan of the aluminium inserts on the steering wheel, bought a wheel recently that had them on and took them right off, verycheap looking.
