I have no jerking

Mine is just an audible knock. I’m going to hold off buying the mount then as it sounds like it we all have different symptoms. Grrr, wish I knew what it was!

Mines a singular knock, and you cant feel it. Only hear it with radio off.

Hm it may be worth a go at only £30.

FYI this guy had pretty much exact same issues.

No doesnt look like it lol. Im going to take mine out and check it before ordering a new one. It looks simple enough. Hope I can get the jack in under my car to support the gearbox! Lowered... only by 40ish mm but I wanna make sure the gearbox is properley supported, might be hard to do from the side. Might put it on axle stands, but then the car is tilted.... thoughts?

You need to warm the transmission oil up to about 50 degrees and then check the oil level via vagcom. iirc

I googled for long enough until she started moaning at me! It would appear not, and that I would need to get the box up-to temp, check with vcds, remove the drain plug, and if it's over filled, some will dribble out over the internal tube to the correct level, however, if none come out, it is possible that there may not be enough in the box, or that the level is indeed correct

I wad in vagcom the other evening and came across the transmission oil temp and how much is in the box.

Click in Vagcom 02 auto trans and go to measuring blocks or was it adaptions II Check around those and you'll find the info needed sorry have to be in it to explain further.

Slight pre-revival here. Finally got some good news regarding my 034 engine mounts. So after a month n half i think they might be coming into the country!
I've had a sh*t time dealing with these mounts especially considering how little help the suppliers were. "We dont know how, were waiting on them like you". There fault or not, why pay you then, n why take my money. ****s. Without spewing anymore hate ill leave it there.

Sooo, hopefully should have these with me Friday as thats what they said to me today. Why lie if you know it's gonna be Monday, a weekend is a big deal.

Whilst i waited for the 034s, ive ordered and received:
Oem lower n upper rear sub bush,
PF insert
PF front of dogbone bush
PF front control arm bush (alk)
PF rear control arm bush
Waiting on reg g dv & cam follower, panel filter.

With the oem dogbone i ordered a new bolt and 2/4(cant member) new frame bolts with shims. I don't have any knocking yet so should i allow the shims? They so big.

Also might be difficult to compare mounts once on as will try do all the above at same time. Should i fit anything else same time? Already got sym2 tyres. Feels like a power-down upgrade.
