Screen washer pump dead!!
« on: December 19, 2010, 09:39:49 pm »
Been out in the Mrs' GT and the screen washer pump is not running. Its not frozen (it was +1.5'C today) as I had recently put decent screen wash/antifreez in.

I cant even hear the pump running when trying to spray the screen. Does the pump run off its own fues?

It was dark when I got home so haven't had a good look at it yet.

It will be the fuse that has blown and im sure it will be a 10 amp fuse.

I've now checked all fuses, all ok, so I'm now thinking (well hoping) that the pump is frozen. Will just have to wait and see  :sad1:

I was thinking of that Carl, but I've got to go to work soon. Will give it a go on Wed if its no better (I'm on nights at the mo).

Been too busy getting the mk3 daily running a little better today..
