Multifunction steering wheel retro fit.

Can anybody please tell me if I change from my non MFS to a MFS will my original airbag still fit or are they different? I know I need to change the control unit and get it programmed with VAG COM but from what I have seen the non MFS has one connection and the MFS has two, what plugs into this other connector if not the airbag?
