Well that's a pretty decent amount of power! So what mods do you have as I only read about the exhaust & the intake?! You must have more to get to that figure?

I can't believe I've left my ED30 standard engine-wise for so long! I was wanting Revo for the switchable maps, but posts like these about R-tech make me think otherwise...

Nice cars waiting to be mapped too!

Well - Turns out its not exactly newly released!

I bought the car in April and it was completely standard bar H&R Springs, the guy at the dealership told me the previous owner fitted them because his standard spring had cracked and he thought it'd be worth upgrading them. It was a positive because id of done the same with whichever ED30 i bought... Now i always suspected the car was mapped but didn't really have any proof (It was very fast and i haddn't driven any others to compare!) - I went to R-Tech with my RamAir Induction Kit and the Full APR TurboBack and was hoping for 330bhp after the map.

As soon as Niki got in my car and drove it onto the ramp he came back over to me and asked "Who's mapped the car before". I said i wasn't aware it was mapped and he said he'd run it and see what power it was putting out without him making any changes. 333bhp...

He tweaked the map and had it running for about 40 mins - Finished result 345.9BHP. Limiting factor was the fuel pump (Im now searching for a HPFP) which should see me up around 360-370!

Well that's a pretty decent amount of power! So what mods do you have as I only read about the exhaust & the intake?! You must have more to get to that figure?

Nice cars waiting to be mapped too!

As above...
RamAir Induction Kit
APR TurboBack Exhaust
with Millers Nanodrive oil and V-Power Fuel.

Ahhhh well now i will completely change your mind....
R-Tech maps come with 5 switchable settings - takes 10 seconds to change the map from stage 1 low power to stage 5 peak power.

Add an S3 IC or from the Golf mk6 R to that HPFP. Should be enough for your hot weather. Keep an eye out for used items in good condition.

Good result, As already mentioned go for a more substantial Intercooler too if you are considering going any further with tuning. I would be more than happy with those figures at stage 2 though!

I've you've got the funds, go for a Peron. Decent gains over S3/R and ideal for k04.

Standard IC is a bit crap for anything over 300bhp imo. Even the S3/R IC will be a big help.

Although he did get 345 BHP presumably with the standard IC.

Nice motor, and great numbers.  I was wanting to aim for around the 350 BHP mark, but if all I need is a decat (mine has APR induction and Miltek Cat-Back already) and I can get around 340 bhp, I'd be chuffed as a chuffed fellow.

Loving the look of yours though.  Must be a lot of hard graft in making it shine so well.  What products do you use?  My other cars are all greys and black, so kind of bought my polishes to line up more with them.  So interested to hear if there are any recommendations for red cars, or if I should just fire on with what I have.
