New member saying Hi - looking to buy a GTI very soon
« on: May 18, 2016, 11:44:34 am »
Hey Guys,

My name is Stu from sunny Portsmouth, been toying with various cars now and currently own a beautiful T5 Transporter. I don't need something quite as big so going to sell it soon, once my SP1 is back from garage, and get myself a decent Mk5 GTi instead.

I haven't decided on petrol over diesel yet, but going to give the DSG a shot I think, just for a change.

I was looking at M3's and RS4's but want to buy a house next year so the Mk5 Gti is a "sensible" buy as far as im concerned :-)

Welcome - on this forum you will end up spending more money on the car than the house!

I have a candy white GTI for sale if it ticks any of your boxes

Thanks for the replies guys - I tried to look at a few gti's and there were sold within seconds of going up for sale, I was getting very frustrated and ended up buying a beautiful black R32 DSG this weekend. Not a Gti I know, sorry chaps - but love the Mk5 golf regardless and the sound of the V6 is pure sex! ;-)

Needs a few tweaks here and there and some refurbishing on some interior bits but a nice car regardless.

So - I guess I have to sell the T5 now after all! :-(
