Lowering advice

Hi all,

I'm thinking of lowering my golf, the problem is that the back sits where I'd like it to but the front is too high. I've just read on a thread here that the GT's sit 15mm lower than standard golf's so am wondering if the front springs may have been replaced for the wrong ones at some point? It's a 4motion if that makes any difference to the ride height.

Just after some opinions... thanks

(I'm aware that the picture isn't great but it's not easy to capture the arch gap on a dark car)

Mine sits the same as yours on the back but mine has no where near the gap that you have on the front.
I am still on oem springs so it might be worth putting the car on a ramp and checking the springs to see if they have been changed

That's what I was thinking. It just doesn't look right

Just had mine lowered with VW Racing springs, The ride still feels the same as standard but with a little less body roll and in my eyes looks alot better.
