Its fantastic. Very obviously the Roses, but not trying to be too 80's/90's influenced. Sounds bang up to date.

Yeah I'm off to the Ethiad on the Friday.
It's quite a simple, poppy tune. Not quite sure if the production is up to scratch - Mani seems a bit lost in the mix. Overall I'm happy with it, although I hope things go a bit deeper when (if) the album arrives. More of the Reni/Mani groove.
Got a horrible feeling this is all they've recorded. This is what they were doing at Church Studios in London just a couple of months ago, with Paul Epworth.
Being cynical, you could say there's more than one clue that this was put together at the last minute. There's a chance that time caught up on them, and fearing the situation where they turn up at the summer gigs with no new music they scrambled to get something recorded.
But being positive, this is just the tip of the iceberg, the new single had to be upbeat, no-frills, somewhat anthemic, so this fit the bill. The real good stuff will be found on the album. Which would benefit from a different producer.
Anyway, it's reet enough for now.
