The first part of the jigsaw arrived today and fitted in double quick time!

I also sort of bought some TTRS calipers......
Where did you get hold of the calipers mate? They seem a bit thin on the ground at the min. Refurbed at least. PM me if preferred.
I got them from eBay. When I'm a little les drunk I'll find the seller

Modding is a good fun I guess and not as bad as some habits! I'm looking forward to my 18" arriving as well, plus I'll need them for the brakes. I've got a very clear idea of what I want to achieve with this car. Which isn't something I've had in the past.  So hopefully I won't get board mid project.
You'll love your GTI when you pick it up. They are such a good all round car. There are cars that do things much better than the GTI but none that come close to doing everything as well as a GTI.
The REVO intake is a great bit of kit. I went for it as its been proven to give good gains. Also Niki of R tech said it was the one to go for. It fit well, great build quality and didn't sound to loud.
The only problem with the REVO is that they are very difficult to get hold of at the moment. Apparently REVO have had manufacturing issues and at present they are not being made. I had to ring around a few REVO dealers to find one in stock. I got the last one TSR had. My next choice would of been Evoms which also comes highly recommended but is supposed to be a bit loader.
Hope you enjoy your car when you pick it up  :happy2:

Another pice of the jigsaw puzzle arrived. It's a Relentless 3.5" down pipe and de cat. A BCS prestige cat back has been ordered to go with it.

Only a small mod but they make a big differance.

I'm also now booked in at AKS pre map to have the turbo back fitted. Along with a Peron intercooler and PolarFIS fitted.
